Empired Limited (ASX:EPD) – one of Australia’s fastest growing national IT services providers today announced that it had secured a significant contract to provide IT strategic consulting services to the Western Australian Police (WA Police) worth an estimated value of $5 Million.

According to the ASX announcement today (attached and below) Western Australian Police is responsible for the largest single police jurisdiction in the world, an area covering 2.5 million square kilometres with a structure comprising three regions, 14 districts, 162 police stations and more than 9,000 employees.

Managing Director Russell Baskerville, said the contract is a three year term with two one year options to extend. Contract pricing is based on an expected program of work and associated work effort. This provides WA Police the flexibility to increase and decrease services in line with their requirements.
