Investment Trends: CMC Markets holds number one position among High Value traders for third consecutive year

SYDNEY, Wednesday 30 August 2017: Investment Trends 2017 Australia Contracts for Difference (CFD) Report highlights that CMC Markets retained the number one position by share of primary relationships among High Value traders for the third consecutive year.

The Australian CFD Report is an in-depth study of the attitudes and investing habits of CFD traders locally, based on a large-scale survey of more than 12,000 investors and traders.

CMC Markets was one of the largest movers by primary market share, with a strong performance among switchers in this year’s report, with CMC Markets also increasing its net promoter score, continuing to exceed the industry average.

Matthew Lewis, head of CMC Markets Asia Pacific said, “We are really pleased with the results from this year’s Investment Trends 2017 Australia CFD Report. CMC Markets has not only held the number one position among high value traders, we have also overachieved in attracting switchers. Given the current conditions, with the market remaining flat, as rates of inactive traders offset reactivation and new clients, these results are pleasing, “ said Lewis.

“The CMC Markets platform delivers on the needs of high value traders, and we have continually built improvements and innovation to our technology with them in mind,” continued Lewis. The Investment Trends 2017 Australia CFD Report also emphasises that CMC Markets ranks highest in overall client satisfaction and is the market leader in 12 out of 17 key service elements measured. CMC Markets placed first in multiple categories, including execution speed, platform features, charting and risk management.

“With the report noting that customer service is one of the most important drivers of overall client satisfaction and client assessment of value for money, we are thrilled to be celebrated for our customer service. We continually strive to provide excellent service – our highly capable staff, multiple channels of engagement, education program and superior platform means our clients receive the very best user experience,” concluded Lewis.
