Netpoleon and Axonius partner to resolve cyber security asset management challenges

Partnership will be pivotal as Axonius scales up and expands efforts in the region

SYDNEY — November 17, 2021 — Netpoleon today announced a partnership with Axonius, the leader in cyber security asset management. The partnership gives Netpoleon customers access to the Axonius platform that delivers an always up-to-date asset inventory, uncovers gaps in coverage, and then uses its tools to eliminate those security holes, and ultimately strengthen the security posture.

Organisations around the world are seeking solutions to manage complexity and risk as they work to untangle the sprawl of devices, cloud services, software, and the tools they use to secure and manage them. A recent study conducted with ESG revealed that this complexity causes visibility gaps and leads to more incidents. More than 80 percent of companies plan to boost investments to combat the problem.

Hasanka Wicks, channel sales director, APAC, at Axonius, said: “Netpoleon is a strong regional cybersecurity specialist and will be an ideal fit to our regional strategy. They have the right set of partners to help drive Axonius expansion into the enterprise and mid-market sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

“Coupled with their technical and services offerings, this will be pivotal as we scale up and expand our efforts in the region. We look forward to working together as we bring our innovative cybersecurity asset management platform into this market.”

Wicks added that with Gartner recently defining the cyber asset attack surface management (CAASm) space and including Axonius as a representative vendor, there is significant opportunity for Axonius and partners such as Netpoleon to resolve customers’ persistent asset visibility and vulnerability challenges.

Paul Lim, regional director of ANZ at Netpoleon, said: “Axonius is a leading vendor in the Gartner-hyped CAASM domain that seeks to enable security teams in solving persistent asset visibility and vulnerability.

“Axonius helps to identify an organisation’s assets that otherwise would have been missed, and may give rise to new attack vectors. Together with our channel partners and Axonius, we are proud to bring this exciting solution to the ANZ market.”
