New Axway Community Management solution builds trusted communities in the cloud

Built on platform, ACM breaks free from hub-and-spoke model, enables up to 75 per cent reduction in partner on-boarding time

SYDNEY, July 14, 2011. Axway, the Business Interaction Networks company, introduces Axway Community Management (ACM), the first solution of its kind to utilise the platform for securely managing global business interactions.

Leveraging the success social networks have had attracting members, provisioning technical connections and operating within agreed-upon rules of engagement, Axway now delivers these same benefits to corporate ecosystems. ACM extends traditional on-premise infrastructures with support for a new, cloud-based paradigm, creating a hybrid approach to community management and collaboration.

ACM reduces the time and expense associated with on-boarding, provisioning and migrating current customers and partners by streamlining communications, managing enrolment workflows and automating profile provisioning in a hybrid cloud/on-premise environment.

Partner information is collected via campaigns of surveys, forms and questionnaires in order to assess readiness and technical capabilities, and to negotiate service terms. ACM uses workflows to automate the partner enrolment and approval process, which ensures requirements are met before moving to the next step, and avoids time-consuming backtracks and re-approvals.

ACM is a technology-agnostic solution that supports any combination of on-premise systems, networks and gateways. Companies can even export information from ACM to easily create profiles or update information, creating value in non-Axway systems.
