Virtualisation and Mobility Solutions Boost Revenue for Mitel Partners

Mitel (NASDAQ: MITL), a leading provider of unified communications software solutions, has announced awards for the accredited Mitel partners who have achieved the highest solutions sales for Australia and New Zealand between May 2010 and April 2011.

Overall achievement awards for the Premier accredited partners with the highest solutions sales revenue in FY2011 went to Anything Telephones & Data, Ethan Group, TTGroup, and Essential Data & Voice.

The winners will send a delegate on an all expenses paid trip to the Mitel Business Partner Conference at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Florida in June, and then on to the Wynn Las Vegas for a few days, all expenses paid. The conference is Mitel's premier channel event, bringing together business communications professionals, system integrators, and complementary technology vendors. The three-day event includes hands-on product demos, customer testimonials, and featured keynote presentations from VMware and Research In Motion. Over 50 of Mitel's technology partners will showcase their integration with Mitel.

Awards for top performing individuals from Mitel’s channel partners were also announced, with winners receiving trips to the Mitel Business Partner Conference Conference, and then on to The Wyn in Las Vegas for a few days. The individual recipients of the Mitel Top Sales Performer awards were Graham Eske and Steve Farley from TTGroup, Tom Carruthers from Essential Data & Voice, Sam Sarkis from Accucom, and Frank Tuskes from Connecttel. Stephen Chapman from AVC received an award for the best client casestudy.

Select and Premier status must employ an agreed number of Mitel certified technical staff, as well as offer different levels of technical support. Premier accredited partners are required to have a 24 x 7 technical support help desk and an in-house demonstration centre. A full range of self-paced online training courses are offered in addition to classroom-based training courses. Program certification is recorded on an individual basis, and follows the career of individuals.
