Mindjet launches solutions that visually organise SharePoint data to give Australian users greater control over their information

Introducing MindManager® Explorer for SharePoint® and MindManager® Mapshare™

SYDNEY (Australian SharePoint Conference), March 8, 2011. Mindjet, whose interactive business productivity solutions let business professionals easily capture and visually organise ideas, information and schedules, today launched two new products that enhance the use of Microsoft’s SharePoint application.

MindManager® Explorer for SharePoint® and MindManager® Mapshare™ were introduced to Australian users today at the SharePoint Conference at the Hilton hotel in Sydney. Recognised as the fastest growing server application in Microsoft’s history*, SharePoint automates business processes and connects people to people on a local, web-based and mobile platform.

MindManager Explorer for SharePoint delivers an easier way to organise, navigate, view and act on the avalanche of information that is often uploaded to the SharePoint platform. MindManager Mapshare™ empowers SharePoint users to easily share their maps throughout the company, without the need for a native client.

Abe Smith, Mindjet Regional Vice President, Americas and Asia Pacific, said, “Our two new applications have been created to effectively leverage SharePoint and optimise its capabilities: MindManager Explorer for SharePoint squarely addresses the pain of navigating through volumes of data resulting from the growing use of SharePoint throughout Australia, while Mapshare allows SharePoint users to collaborate better via shared maps across teams and departments.”

Cameron Ackbury, Mindjet General Manager Asia Pacific and Japan, said, “Advanced integration with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook and Project is now complemented by SharePoint integration. Now all Mindjet solutions seamlessly integrate with these popular Microsoft Office products so that Australian users can be both more efficient and productive in their business efforts.”

The new MindManager applications may be viewed on the Mindjet stand at Microsoft’s Australian SharePoint Conference, at the Sydney Hilton, on March 8 and 9 - Grand Ballroom Lobby - Booth #9. Mindjet products are also available for free trial or purchase at www.mindjet.com/products/overview and through an extensive partner network at www.mindjet.com/community/partners/overview.
