Portrait Software Boosts Local Analytics Team

Portrait Software has appointed Georgina Lakeland to lead its Australian marketing analytics team following growing regional demand for sophisticated insight and analysis of customer data

Portrait Software, a leading provider of customer interaction optimisation software and now a part of Pitney Bowes Business Insight (PBBI), has appointed Georgina Lakeland to lead its Australian marketing analytics team.

Lakeland brings over twelve years analytics and data mining experience to the role, most recently in fraud detection, law enforcement, intelligence and audit at NetMap Analytics and prior to that with Multinet Consulting Services and Acxiom. According to Chris Lowther, General Manager Asia Pacific for Portrait Software, ‘the new appointment is a direct result of growing regional demand for sophisticated insight and analysis of customer data.’ ‘Georgina’s expertise and knowledge in customer data analytics from projects with organisations such as Telstra and Suncorp Metway, is perfectly suited to the Portrait Customer Analytics solution set,’ said Lowther. ‘Georgina’s appointment reflects the increasing B2C interest in our easy-to-use, efficient and cost effective solutions that reveal customer intelligence from raw data.’

Lakeland holds a BA and Master of Commerce.
