How to master communication for global projects
Sydney – July 9, 2010 — Mindjet®, the leading provider of software and cloud-based applications for visually organising and managing information and ideas, is sponsoring a free Webinar on ‘Mastering Communication for Global Projects’.
The presenter is Warren Arbuckle, who has spent the past seven years developing business innovation strategies and helping Fortune 500 companies to apply these strategies. He has more than 25 years of executive experience in Japan.
The Webinar, at 1pm AEST on July 21, is derived from Arbuckle’s program, ‘Mastering MindManager™ for Projects’, which is officially approved by the Project Management Institute for its 350,000-plus certified members. Participants will learn three strategies for maximising project communication by setting up a visually intuitive, easily customised Project Dashboard to:
• Break down communication barriers (How to exploit multiple languages to advantage).
• Effectively communicate with project stakeholders (Your management, your client and your team).
• Slash meeting prep time in half (No more PowerPoint!).
Arbuckle says it is possible to slash any meeting prep time in half. Project managers typically spend 3-6 hours a week searching for and prepping data, and his presentation can eliminate the process of digging around for the latest information to present. Instead it will show how to use MindManger to run meetings.
He says: “See how you can leverage MindManager and the Project Dashboard to power up projects, saving time and effort on projects of any size. The need to improve communication and lower risk for project success is greater now than ever before, as resources are severely limited.”
The Webinar is for professionals and those new to project management. Certified PMPs will earn 1 PDU for re-certification from the Project Management Institute.
