Axios Systems Appoints New Senior Account Manager for its Australian Office
Bill has joined the Australian team as a Senior Account Manager, based in Axios’ Sydney office. He has had more than 12 successful years in the ITSM industry, working with EMC Ionix (formerly Infra) for the last 5 years. Prior to this, Bill worked with Datawatch (formerly Workgroup Systems) in both Australia and the UK, and also with BMC Software in the UK. Bill’s career has given him experience in managing the New South Wales (NSW) region, while also supporting the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) region.
Bill has gained extensive account management experience and has a solid understanding of the ITSM industry, his customers’ needs and, more importantly, how to help them meet these needs. He has worked with various sizes and types of organisation, including enterprise-level and government, across all industry sectors.
Axios believes Bill’s experience will support their planned growth in the Australian and Asia-Pacific market and demonstrate their commitment to the region, helping to strengthen the reputation of the assyst ITSM solution in this market.
Bills says of his new employer, “I am delighted to be joining Axios Systems and a great team that is working hard to support and develop the Australian and Asia-Pacific market. Two major factors made the decision to join Axios an easy one; firstly, Axios has a single ITSM focus and the company lives and breathes ITSM. Secondly, Axios is genuinely passionate and vested in the success of its customer implementations and delivering results. I am looking forward to helping with the continued success of Axios and its customers in this market.”
Andros Symeonides, Senior VP Business Development at Axios Systems says, “We are delighted to see our team in Australia expanding with the continued growth of our presence in this market and having Bill on board puts us in an excellent position to continue with this success.”
About Axios Systems
Axios Systems is the world’s leading provider of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. Its customer-centric approach, combined with its award-winning software, enables customers to improve their Service Delivery and Support and deliver Continual Service Improvement (CSI) by helping to align and realign IT services to changing business needs, supporting business processes and improving productivity.
Benefiting from more than 20 years of development and investment around Best Practice principles, Axios Systems’ core solution, assyst, built around its market-leading Configuration Management Database (CMDB), intuitively steers users through the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes which help organisations transition toward the next generation of ITSM and Service Desks. assyst offers a unique lifecycle approach to ITSM with the integration of all ITIL processes (including Incident, Capacity, Problem, Change, Asset, Configuration and Service Level Management), twelve of which have been verified by Pink Elephant’s PinkVERIFY service as compatible with industry best practices (based on ITIL V3), in a fully integrated, out-of-the-box application. It empowers management with a dashboard-based transparent view of real-time performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA), and Operations Level Agreements (OLA).
Implementing assyst into an organisation optimises IT infrastructure efficiency, reduces overheads and lowers the total cost of IT ownership (TCO), helping to ensure a significant return on investment (ROI) with rapid time-to-value. Axios also offers a comprehensive set of consulting and training services to support ITSM best practices in an organisation. Axios’ Asia Pacific headquarters is in Melbourne, Australia.
