Working together to build better sustainability
One of the most pressing concerns facing humanity today is our impact on the environment. A lot has been said about carbon emissions and climate change, but these are not the only concerns, and indeed, in some parts of the world concern for plastics in the oceans even outweighs concern over climate change. According to a report by UNESCO, if something isn’t done urgently to stem the tide, there will be more plastic in the world’s oceans than fish. This is simply unsustainable. It has become incumbent on all responsible companies to look at what they can do to address waste, encourage recycling and drive greater sustainability with the consumption of plastics and other materials.
