Ibex, an off-shore business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, has unveiled plans to employ as many as 1000 employees in the Philippines following the opening of a new service centre.
Located in Alabang, Muntinlupa, the new facility can house up to 1000 seats, with plans in place to reach 850 employees by the end of November.
“This is the first of three new sites we are launching in the Philippines for a total expansion of over 2700 seats in 120 days,” said Bob Dechant, CEO of Ibex. “Ibex has been growing well above the market which means most importantly new jobs and career advancement for our people.”
In launching a new location in Alabang, alongside the additional new sites, the provider now employs over 10,000 staff in the Philippines, with more than 30 sites across the world.
