
Wahab Yusoff (Forescout Technologies)
Forescout Technologies has appointed Wahab Yusoff to the role of regional vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan.
Based in Singapore, Yusoff will be responsible for increasing sales, customer adoption and spreading the partner ecosystem across Australia, Japan, India, Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Prior to his appointment, Yusoff was the company’s regional vice president for Asia from October 2017 to September 2019. Before this, he worked for 30 years in a number of roles at various technology-focused companies, including Palo Alto Networks, Intel Security (now McAfee), EMC Computer Systems.
He is also a founding partner of Rekanext VC and currently is on the member board of directors at Rekanext VC, EZ-Link and Workforce Singapore.
“Forescout has a wealth of talent with seasoned networking and security experts who understand how to guide our customers and partners through these new IT challenges,” he said. “Our platform delivers deep device visibility and control to help organisations reduce risk and orchestrate action through technical integration with leading IT and security solutions.”
Wahab replaced Steve Redman who was recently appointed chief revenue officer.
Redman added that he considers Wahab to be “immensely experienced” in sales in the Asian region.
“Having served on a number of boards for large enterprises in Singapore, he has a deep understanding of organisations’ security risks, and I am thrilled to have him lead us in the APJ region,” Redman said.
