Rhipe is building out cloud capabilities in Malaysia through the channel, in response to increased demand for Microsoft technologies.
The cloud aggregator recently took home the 2019 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award for Malaysia, adding to the same in-country honour in 2017.
As revealed by Channel Asia, the awards recognise excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
“As a company that prides itself in providing solutions that enable our partners to adapt and thrive in the maturing cloud economy, we are proud to once again win the Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for Malaysia in 2019,” said Gooi-Lee Tan, country sales manager, Rhipe. “It is a great recognition of our dedication and passion to drive success for our customers using transformative solutions on the hybrid and public cloud landscape.”
In Malaysia, Gooi-Lee said Rhipe leverages Microsoft Azure and a variety of Microsoft tools and services to bring “new and innovative” cloud products to organisations across a range of sectors and geographies.
Delving deeper, the business also deploys offerings such as the PRISM cloud portal, designed to simplify cloud billing and provisioning by providing channel partners with a single pane of glass to enhance program management.
Rhipe was also recognised for partner enablement capabilities, evident through the Success Program, which features subject matter experts who share expertise within the aggregator’s partner ecosystem.
The Australian-born business is no stranger to Microsoft having previously won the Country Partner of the Year Award for Australia in 2018, amid plans to expand its cloud footprint across key Southeast Asia markets.
“Rhipe is an exemplar within the Microsoft partner community,” added K. Raman, managing director of Malaysia, Microsoft. “As more and more Malaysian businesses and organisations embrace cloud, it brings Microsoft great pride to work alongside such a brilliant partner to accelerate cloud-based digital transformation across the nation.”
Among the Malaysian partners recognised as finalists were Infrastructure Consulting & Managed Services; SoftwareONE Experts and Enfrasys Consulting, recognised as 2018 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year.
In ASEAN, and alongside Rhipe, Ingram Micro was recognised as the standout Partner of the Year in Singapore, with ViBiCloud taking home Indonesian honours.
Meanwhile in the Philippines, Crayon Software was acknowledged, in addition to MFEC Public, Tech Data and Tech One in Thailand, Vietnam and Brunei respectively.
