FPT has signed an agreement with DPD Group to deploy digital technologies across the second largest parcel delivery network in Europe.

Following examination of the company’s IT systems and processes, FPT will map out and then deploy IT4EM2 - a digital technology platform - to enhance business performance across 12 countries.

The Vietnam-based technology provider will also build out big data analysis capabilities, through the provision of a data architecture guided by the FPT Digital Kaizen methodology, under the banner of ‘Think Big, Start Smart and Small, Scale Fast’.

The new digital platform is expected to improve operational efficiency and bolster customer experience as the courier group builds out capabilities across Europe and the global market.

“The world will be reinvented and will be explored,” added Paul-Marie Chavanne, chairman of GeoPost, the holding company of DPD Group. “It demands us to be more creative and innovative. We can not do it all alone. We need a partner, and I hope that FPT is the privileged partner will help us jump high in this new world.”

FPT first partnered with DPD Group in 2018 through a number of small and medium-sized projects.
