Crayon has appointed Rhonda Robati as vice president of sales across Asia Pacific as part of plans to drive software growth through the channel.

In the new role, Robati is tasked with leading sales and operations at a regional level with a key focus on Southeast Asia and the recently launched Australia market. Based in Sydney, Robati will report to Florent Bellahsene, vice president of Asia Pacific at Crayon.

“We are confident that Rhonda will lead Crayon Asia Pacific towards accelerated growth in delivering digital transformation for our partners and customers,” Bellahsene said. “Our people play a critical role for Crayon, and we continue to transform our entire ecosystem with our Digital 360 framework, whilst building on our core Software and Cloud Analytics, Cloud Services and Cloud-iQ.”

Robati joins the software specialists with more than 25 years of in-market experience leading global sales, operations and technology solutions, following a 12-year tenure at Insight Technologies - formerly Software Spectrum.

Prior to joining Crayon, Robati also spearheaded direct and channel sales at GeoOp and Velpic, in addition to executive leadership roles at Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce and McAfee.

“I am excited about the opportunity Crayon presents to customers and partners with a unique value proposition in leading practices and solutions across software and services,” Robati added.

“Working with an incredible team with clear strategy to help customers optimise and simplify their digital journey aligns with my core values and goals. I look forward to connecting with my network to share the Crayon vision, strategy and value.”

As reported by sister publication ARN, the Norweigan headquartered vendor officially launched in Australia last week, driven by new CEO of Australia and New Zealand, David Jensen.
