Wipro has launched a new co-innovation centre in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of plans to drive customer transformation agendas.

Unveiled as the Wipro-AWS Launch Pad, the “state-of-the-art” facility - housed in Bengaluru, India - is designed to allow the global system integrator to showcase in-house capabilities on AWS Cloud.

The centre will serve as a customer showcase hub for specialised teams to “ideate, collaborate, develop and deliver” futuristic solutions, with specific focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, Internet of Things, blockchain, augmented and virtual reality.

“The Wipro-AWS Launch Pad showcases what we do best - envisioning the future and creating transformative solutions for our customers,” said Ramesh Nagarajan, senior vice president of Cloud, Wipro. “With our expertise in AWS Cloud Services, we are excited to support our customers’ continuous business transformation journey through the Wipro-AWS Launch Pad.”

Nagarajan said the centre also allows an “integrated delivery approach” capable of accelerating cloud adoption for enterprise customers across the region.

Wipro is a Premier Consulting Partner within the AWS Partner Network (APN), housing expertise across strategy, technology consulting and migration, in addition to cloud native application development, integration and managed services.

“Wipro is raising the bar with the Wipro-AWS Launch Pad by demonstrating the truly innovative experiences that can be developed on AWS,” added Ed Lenta, managing director of Asia Pacific, AWS.

“As an APN Premium Consulting Partner driving some of our largest and most transformational projects, it’s great to see Wipro’s powerful vision for customer experiences come alive in such an engaging and immersive way.”
