
NetGain Systems has appointed James Chia as new CEO as the IT monitoring and protection provider targets growth across the region.
Effective immediately, the move sees founder Toh Soon Seah assume the position of CTO, backed by a new Singapore office and a commitment to recruit within sales, operations and research and development (R&D).
The new executive team is tasked with enhancing product technology offerings to include artificial intelligence (AI) for IT operations.
Chia has more than 25 years of experience in sales and leadership position, following roles at Cisco, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Arista, spanning markets in Singapore, China and Vietnam.

NetGain Systems specialises in IT monitoring and protection business, with offices across Asia Pacific.

Soon Seah said new plans in the technology pipeline include the introduction of machine learning capabilities into NetGain Systems' monitoring products.
Additionally, the provider will also be delving into new Internet of Things (IoT) analytics platform solutions, designed to capture “huge volumes” of data from IoT devices and smart sensors.
