Sophos has honoured three leading partners across the region following a year of security growth delivered through the channel.
Unveiled during the vendor’s ASEAN Partner Conference, the awards recognise the standout security specialists in the region, acknowledging growth during the past financial year.
Centrics Networks of Singapore was recognised as the Partner of the Year, while Quantum Solutions of South Korea took home Rising Star honours. Meanwhile, Fortesys Distribution of Malaysia was awarded Distributor of the Year recognition.
“Congratulations to the teams at Fortesys Distribution, Centrics Networks and Quantum Solutions,” said Gavin Struthers, regional vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan at Sophos.
“As a 100 per cent channel business, Sophos values the hard work and dedication of our partners across ASEAN and the winners of this year’s partner awards have gone above and beyond to ensure the joint success of our businesses.
“These companies epitomise the focus our industry needs to ensure we are evolving to help our customers effectively deal with the ever-changing cyber risk landscape.”
The awards come six months after the appointment of Struthers as regional leader for the business, tasked with driving market growth through the channel.
“The key to growing a successful business in the Asia Pacific region is to nurture and support the right channel partners,” said Struthers, when speaking to Channel Asia at the time of his appointment. “Sophos has a global reputation for focusing 100 per cent on its channel and for providing the programs that partners need and the products that customers demand.
“The innovation that Sophos is delivering to the industry through its synchronised security vision uniquely positions the brand in the market.”
