Microsoft has honoured leading ASEAN partners on a global stage, recognising customer innovation and excellence through the channel.

Unveiled ahead of Microsoft Inspire in Las Vegas, Ingram Micro was recognised as the standout Partner of the Year in Singapore, with Rhipe and ViBiCloud taking home Malaysia and Indonesia honours respectively.

In the Philippines, Crayon Software was acknowledged, in addition to MFEC Public, Tech Data and Tech One in Thailand, Vietnam and Brunei respectively.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the finalists and winners of the Microsoft 2019 Partner of the Year Awards,” said Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president of One Commercial Partner at Microsoft. “These companies are industry leaders helping businesses around the world connect and achieve more.

“I’m truly amazed by each winner and finalist, and I am honoured to highlight the incredible work they are doing.”

The annual awards recognise leading partners which have implemented customer solutions based on Microsoft technology, with the global prize giving set for July 14-18.

“This year’s entries serve as a true master class on how to bring technology to life and deliver real-world, bottom-line value to customers around the world,” Schuster added. “Virtually every entry we received showcased something remarkable - some piece of ingenuity that differentiated a solution, or an incredible display of commitment and service to make the impossible possible.

“Reviewing the entries side by side is something we look forward to every year, and we are consistently blown away by the impact of the Microsoft partner ecosystem.”

This year, Schuster said Microsoft received nearly 3,000 nominations across 115 countries, spanning in-country submissions and also across technology categories.

“For each one, we evaluated how the technology was used, the impact it had, and the commitment to customers demonstrated along the way,” Schuster explained. “On behalf of Microsoft, I want to officially recognise this year’s winners, finalists, and every nominee for their commitment and achievements.”
