ASG Technologies has signed Cognopia as its data governance partner in Singapore, in an effort to drive growth across Asia Pacific (APAC).
The alliance is designed to help enhance the vendor’s enterprise data intelligence business, digital workplace and content solutions across the region.

According to Kothari, it is expected that APAC will become the fastest growing region for data governance, driven primarily by discussions around data sovereignty, data privacy and digital transformation. The growing expectation from regional citizens for digital services continues to contribute to such discussions.
Furthermore, the adoption and rollout of big data, open source data lake platforms and cloud based analytics is driving demand for cost-effective data management, governance solutions and services among large and medium-sized enterprises in the region.
The increasing investment in digitisation and automation, such as emergence in AI and IoT in various sectors in the region are also generating higher interest for data governance solutions.
