Business transformation vendor, Signavio, has ramped up its Asia Pacific (APAC) expansion efforts by partnering with end-to-end data network solutions provider, Sterlite Technologies.

As part of Sterlite's digital transformation roadmap that began in 2018, the agreement will form part of Signavio’s transformation suite, enabling the former’s goal of designing and deploying high-capacity networks for global telcos, cloud companies, citizen networks and large enterprises.

Furthermore, with customers in 100 countries and manufacturing plants across eight locations, the partnership helps enhance business agility without compromising process controls.

The deal will also build on Signavio's one million users in over 1,300 companies worldwide, particularly in Southeast Asia.

“We have been on a disruptive digital transformation journey with deep investment in digital solution platforms,” said Nischal Gupta, chief transformation officer at Sterlite Technologies. “We are continuously challenging our own processes before automating them to ensure they are better, leaner, and faster.

"As a key solution in our digital ecosystem, Signavio’s Suite is helping enhance our controls on every delivery made to our global customers. This standardisation is helping us with process orchestration at large.

"Data-based decisions are key to our complex global supply chain. Signavio gives us clear process visibility and orchestration across all regions. We are now driving much faster decision making for solution design - which is now down from a few weeks to just one day."

Signavio’s solutions are used across Sterlite’s network services and connectivity solutions business units, which includes managing engineering changes across its factories in Italy, India, China and Brazil, and executing civil works across its network services business.

The platform is tailored to the requirements of regional ecosystems and optimises workflows across multiple use cases; including civil execution workflows; material testing; engineering change management; invoice collection and payments for Sterlite’s global customers.

“We are delighted to engage with Sterlite Technologies, as a leading global data network solutions provider,” said Dr Gero Decker, CEO of Signavio. “The results so far have been transformative, and we look forward to supporting the firm’s innovative work in helping build a more connected world."

Headquartered in Berlin, Signavio has regional offices in Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, the UK and the US.
