Arxxus Technology Partners has unveiled plans to launch in the Singapore market before the end of the 2019 / 2020 financial year, in response to increased growth aspirations.
Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Arxxus is a specialist Salesforce partner in Asia Pacific, housing more than 140 certified professionals across the region.
In addition to the opening of a new Brisbane office, the launch into Asia follows the latest round of funding, with participation from Salesforce Ventures.
“This recent round of investment from Salesforce allows us to continue to create innovative solutions to increasingly complex business problems that our customers face,” said Kim Stewart-Smith, CEO of Arxxus. “That’s why we are rapidly scaling Arxxus to meet the customer demand that we are seeing for our specialist solutions.”
According to Stewart-Smith, Arxxus is one of the first partners to receive funding from the recently announced Salesforce Ventures $50 million Australia Trailblazer fund.
“We have been investing heavily in hiring smart, hungry yet humble people to join the Arxxus Team and this funding will ensure we recruit the best of the best to deliver customer success for our clients,” Stewart-Smith added. “It also allows us to continue to develop our Arxxus University that ensures we have a deep focus on continuous learning across our teams.
“Delivering customer excellence is a key focus for us; we do this by adopting a solutions-focused mindset, leveraging our technical expertise, industry knowledge and platform capability along with our collaborative working style our clients appreciate.”
The funding comes as Arxxus clocks 10 years of operating within the Salesforce ecosystem, with further expansion set to continue across key markets of Sydney and Melbourne.
Arxxus is also ramping up its Salesforce practice in India through expansion in Pune and Bangalore.
“For nearly 10 years Arxxus has been an innovative partner in the Salesforce ecosystem," said Charles Woodall, vice president of partner and strategic alliances APAC at Salesforce. “I’m thrilled to see Arxxus expand their reach in the APAC region with their solutions-led approach.”
The expansion also follows the appointment of Stewart-Smith as CEO and managing director in January 2019, replacing David Freyer in the role, with the co-founder assuming the position of executive chair on the Arxxus board of directors.
“We’ve always had a special relationship with Salesforce both as an innovative partner, as well as a Salesforce Ventures portfolio company,” Freyer added. “This latest round of funding allows us to scale and accelerate our smart business growth over the coming years.”
