HKBN Enterprise Solutions and Microsoft have entered into a partnership to bring Microsoft 365 and Office 365 video-conferencing solutions to the Hong Kong market.
Microsoft hopes the introduction of such services to Hong Kong will facilitate the increased competitiveness of local businesses with an array of new communications options now available including email, online chat, telephone call with local desktop numbers and video-conferencing home, the office or whilst traveling.
"Our cooperation with Microsoft brings an all-new level of convenience, practicality and cost-savings that will redefine and improve communications for Hong Kong's businesses and their employees,” said William Yeung, co-owner and executive vice-chairman, HKBN.
“Our goal is to provide business customers with the best possible solutions to help them achieve great success."
Through this partnership, organisations will now be able to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and software solutions through the direct routing capabilities of Microsoft’s cloud-based offerings and HKBN Enterprise Solutions' high-speed connectivity and Enterprise SIP Trunk.
“More and more cross-border partnerships are emerging across the Greater Bay Area, providing enormous new opportunities for Hong Kong companies,” said Alain Crozier, region chairman and CEO of Greater China at Microsoft.
“Our advanced communications and collaboration solutions can empower businesses to capitalise on these opportunities and achieve more.
"In cooperation with HKBN Enterprise Solutions, we can now deliver holistic business solutions to Hong Kong companies, including our world-class productivity and AI capabilities, through a single, convenient point of contact.
“And, with HKBN Enterprise Solutions' strong presence and robust last-mile infrastructure in Hong Kong, we can better provide solutions and services to help Hong Kong companies accelerate their adoption of cloud technologies."
The partnership will also see HKBN Enterprise Solutions offer a 100Mbps business broadband service bundled with three licenses of Microsoft 365 for HK$928 per month.
In addition, the provider will also offer on-site activation support to companies subscribed to the solutions, in a move designed to cater to small and medium sized companies in need of professional IT support.
Through adopting these new solutions, businesses can save on capital expenditures by eliminating the upfront costs for voice and video-conferencing equipment.
In addition, customers can also leverage Microsoft 365’s cyber security protections, such as multi-authentication login, which are critical for companies to stay protected in an environment of ever-changing security challenges.
