Singapore-based Netpoleon Group has entered into a distribution partnership with human-driven phishing defense solutions provider Cofense (formerly known as PhishMe).
Netpoleon Group is a value-added distributor of network security products, headquartered in Singapore with offices across the region in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
“We are pleased to partner with Cofense in Asia to provide technology for phishing defense and sourcing the latest cutting edge solutions to our customers is always key for us,” said Max Foo, COO and regional director at Netpoleon.
“Working together with Cofense to bring end-to-end phishing mitigation to the key growth regions is a natural step forward for us and we look forward to the success together."
The mutually beneficial partnership aims to combine Netpoleon Group’s expertise and knowledge across a range of technology solutions with Cofense’s platform, to help protect organisations from advanced security threats.
“Collaboration with IT security industry leaders like Netpoleon Group extends our ability to provide phishing defense services to a very large number of customers,” added Robert Iannicello, vice president of global channel sales at Cofense.
“Through our partnership, we can help organisations in Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and neighbouring countries leverage the power of human intelligence to proactively respond to and neutralise sophisticated cyber-attacks."
Furthermore, with a rise in cyber security threats and phishing incidents seen in Singapore and across the region, Cofense’s incident response and phishing threat intelligence solutions enable security operations and incident response teams to respond quickly to threats in real-time, thereby reducing the risk of security breaches.
The solutions provider’s intelligence-driven solutions are designed to facilitate the employee being an active line of defense and a human threat detector by enabling them to recognise and report phishing attacks, malware and other surrounding threats.
