Exclusive Networks is set to act as the regional distributor for Plantronics across Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand following the signing of a new partnership agreement.
“We are excited to work with Plantronics and bring the brand’s forward-looking enterprise communications solutions to Southeast Asia,” said Jonathan Juay, vice president of Asia at Exclusive Networks.
“The region has established itself as an economic powerhouse, and companies here are increasingly recognising the importance of empowering employees with the tools needed to create fantastic communications and collaboration experiences.
“I am confident that the Plantronics products being brought in will raise the bar for communications regionally.”
Customers across the Southeast Asia countries will now gain access to the vendor’s full catalogue of unified communications and collaboration (UCC) solutions, including the new Savi 8200 Series headset system and Voyager 4200 UC Series headsets and Elara 60 series mobile phone station.
“By partnering with Exclusive Networks, companies and employees in Southeast Asia have easy access to the latest Plantronics audio solutions that improve productivity and increase positive connections in a call centre, open office, shared workspace, or busy office in Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, or Kuala Lumpur,” added Sandra Lee, regional sales director of ASEAN at Plantronics.
“We offer mobile solutions to help employees manage and tame noise distractions in many environments to increase the productivity of companies and workers in Southeast Asia."
It is expected that in the coming years, the global UCC market will surpass US$57 billion by 2024, with the highest regional growth expected to come from the Asia Pacific (APAC) region according to a research report by Global Market Insights.
As part of this agreement, Exclusive Networks will distribute both brands under the Plantronics umbrella, namely, Plantronics and Polycom, which the company acquired earlier this year.
