Malaysian solutions provider TIME dotCom Berhad (TIME) has introduced two new virtual managed services, leveraging Juniper Networks' vSRX to provide end-users with on-demand provisioning.
In a bid to further optimise network scalability and mobility, while reducing the high costs of physical infrastructure, the provider has introduced a managed virtual router and a managed virtual firewall on the back of the vSRX virtual firewall technology.
The vSRX is designed to provide scalable, secure protection across private, public and hybrid clouds as more organisations continue to move their workloads to the cloud.
The same features as Juniper’s physical SRX series firewalls are offered but in a virtualised form factor delivering security services that scale to match network demand.

The service provider has been a long-time partner of Juniper Networks, delivering broadband connectivity to end-users across Malaysia.
However, as more organisation have moved their workloads to the cloud or will do so in the near future, the provider understood the necessity of giving enterprises greater flexibility to easily add, drop or change services seamlessly through a simple online portal.

Through TIME’s new virtual managed cloud services, Malaysian enterprises and their customers are able to implement cost-effective network scalability, while retaining robust security protection.
