Blue Prism drives digital agenda with new Asia HQ

Expansion increases levels of local sales and consulting support

Blue Prism has opened Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, backed up by new offices in Hong Kong as part of regional expansion plans.

The move is designed to allow the automation specialists to provide increased levels of local sales and consulting support to help meet increasing demands for digital solutions.

Furthermore, the new offices will support Blue Prism’s expanding base of customers in Asia, spanning Great Eastern Life, Maybank and Schroders among others.

“We are the local provider of choice for intelligent automation and operational transformation in Asia,” said Martin Flood, executive vice president of global sales at Blue Prism.

“The Blue Prism ecosystem in Asia continues to grow with local language support, employees across Asia, partners in-region and multiple successful Digital Workforce deployments.

“The new office locations will strengthen and augment our existing capabilities in region, including our expansion in Japan, India and Australia.”

With more than 1,000 customers worldwide, Blue Prism specialises in robotic process automation (RPA), a technology expected to be in use in at least 40 per cent of Asia Pacific banks and insurance companies by 2020.

According to IDC research, the use of RPA enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities will grow threefold by 2021.

“These market adoption numbers are being supported and validated by the strong customer growth Blue Prism is experiencing in the region,” Flood added.

Built on the Microsoft .NET Framework, Blue Prism automates any application and supports any platform - such as mainframe, windows, WPF, java and web.
