Infor promotes from within to drive ASEAN cloud growth

New leader tasked with driving the vendor’s sales operations across region

Cloud specialists Infor has appointed Wesley Kowalski as head of ASEAN, promoting the leader from within to drive sales across the wider region.

Based in Singapore, Kowalski is tasked with driving the vendor’s sales operations alongside overseeing the distribution of product offerings and services.

“Infor continues to expand across ASEAN supporting the region’s digital transformation,” said Helen Masters, senior vice president and general manager of Infor Asia Pacific.

“Corporates and SMEs across the region are dedicated to increasing agility and scalability by adopting business software designed for specific industries, delivered via the cloud.

“With his innovative thinking and business vision, Wesley will continue to drive Infor ASEAN’s growth, cloud adoption and enable customer success.”

Kowalski assumes the role with “extensive experience” in leading large, complex business transformation programmes across energy and utilities, financial services and telecommunications sectors.

Prior to Infor, Kowalski headed sales and marketing in Australian IT start-up, Fusion Professionals, before leadership roles globally and in Asia Pacific at IBM and Oracle, respectively.

“This is one of the most innovative regions globally that continues to be an economic growth engine,” Kowalski added.

“I am confident that Infor can continue to enable the digital transformation in the region and help our clients seize the enormous benefits of the cloud.”

Leveraging cloud expertise, Infor builds business software for specific industries with more than 90,000 customers in over 170 countries worldwide.

From a channel perspective, the vendor aligns with resellers, service providers, consultants, advisors and integrators, with key partners in the region including Accenture, Atos and Capgemini, alongside Cognizant, Fortude and Grant Thornton.
