Eze Software has partnered with Singapore-based Sherpa Funds Technology to offer advanced portfolio construction and factor analytics capabilities to customers.
A provider of global investment technology, Eze Software has made concerted efforts to expand across Asia Pacific (APAC), which included the appointment of Laura Ryan just last year as the head of sales for the region.
“We are always looking for ways to help our clients simplify their portfolio construction processes, enabling them to generate better returns while minimising unwanted risk,” said R.G. Manalac, managing director of Asia Pacific, Eze Software.
“This partnership will enable our users to account for all their business goals while optimising their portfolios by accessing Sherpa’s time-tested models and processes, aided by Eze’s order management system.”
Sherpa Funds Technology, on the other hand, is a Singapore based service-provider which offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) tool for pre-trade process improvements, which leads ultimately to better portfolios.
The value proposition with such a SaaS tool is that it enables more consistent and better returns, a welcome addition to a portfolio managers capabilities.
Furthermore, the risk exposure objectives of investors and consultants can also be matched more accurately by the use of such a tool.
“Partnering with Eze allows Sherpa to deliver its portfolio processes to Eze's client base with very little integration overhead,” said Richard Waddington, CEO of Sherpa.
Headquartered in Singapore, where its sales, development, tech, business support and advisory team is based, the company also has in place distribution partners across Hong Kong and Australia.
