Gresham Technologies has appointed a new regional sales director for Asia Pacific, tasked with driving sales of the provider’s enterprise data integrity platform, Clareti.
New sales director Khee Joo Tan is charged with leading business development, direct sales and partnerships across the region.
With expertise in software and services, Gresham Technologies specialises in providing real-time transaction control and enterprise data integrity solutions.
“Data Integrity is now a top issue at board level,” Tan said. “Disruptive developments in the sector, such as the ASEAN Banking Integration Framework, and increasingly demanding regulations mean that firms need more innovative technology to evidence control of their data.”
The appointment of Tan comes at a time of major growth for the company, with 15 new Clareti customers brought on-board during 2017.
Specific to Asia Pacific, Tan joins Gresham with over 25 years of experience, having recently ran regional sales and partnerships for Smartstream, where he was senior vice president.
In addition to Smartstream, Tan also held positions at Tibco, TCS and FRS Global, and is a graduate of the University of Auckland, the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney.
Tan’s team across the region are based in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Headquartered in the UK, the business also has offices in New York, Singapore and Sydney, alongside an Innovation Labs where the company’s product development for Clareti takes place.
